Dr. A. G. Walp is the administrator of Payson Christian School in Payson, Arizona. He served the public for eleven years as a police officer in Florida and North Carolina. After making the rank of detective with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department in N.C., he retired from police work to enter the ministry. He holds an earned PhD in Higher Education Leadership, an earned Doctorate in Christian Apologetics from Southern Evangelical Seminary, an Education Specialist degree, a Masters in Pastoral Counseling, and an Undergraduate in Religion from Liberty University. 

​He and his wife of more than 34 years, T.J., have raised two sons and now have a beautiful granddaughter.  Dr. Walp hated God until he was twenty-seven years old, but then he came to know the transcendent brilliance of God who also loves each and every one of us despite who we are and what we have done.  He has been a guest speaker at schools, universities, churches, and special events and
